Maxima 820 retro Electric

For 2024, this is the brand-new Maxima 820 Retro. This new flagship from Maxima Boats is one of a kind and stands out in many ways. Additionally, this boat features a spacious aft sundeck, a built-in fuel tank, an enclosed restroom, easy access from the stern, and a generous swim platform. Optionally, this boat can be fully customized to your liking; even an electric anchor winch, a permatex deck, and a stern shower are among the possibilities.

Furthermore, the 820 Retro features a beautifully integrated swim platform with steps leading up to the sunbed at the rear of the cabin. A stylish U-shaped bench is situated around the helm.

The elegant console also provides a good overview and perfect readability of the navigation system. The galley and refrigerated drawers are located in the center. This can be placed on either side as an option. There is also the option for a storage box above the refrigerated drawer. At the front is a large round seating area with storage compartments under the benches, and at the bow is the storage compartment and/or toilet area. The anchor locker, with an optional electric windlass, is located on the foredeck.

ePropulsion

Thanks to the modern ePropulsion electric drive system, you’ll enjoy a whisper-quiet and smooth boating experience, free from emissions, engine noise, or vibrations. The motor responds instantly and precisely, ensuring comfortable maneuvering and relaxed cruising in all conditions. In addition, the ePropulsion systems offer great ease of use thanks to the clear digital display, which makes it easy to read speed, battery status, and remaining cruising time.

You can choose from two power options. The 6 kW version is perfect for leisurely trips and calm cruising, with a top speed of approximately 8 km/h. If you want more power and flexibility, the 12 kW version offers extra power and speeds of up to approximately 12 km/h.

Range

Depending on your sailing needs, you can choose from various lithium battery packs:

• 6 kW with 8192 Wh → approximately 4 hours of cruising at cruising speed
• 6 kW long run (16384 Wh) → approximately 8 hours of cruising at cruising speed
• 12 kW with 10080 Wh → approximately 3 hours of cruising at cruising speed
• 12 kW long run (20160 Wh) → approximately 6 hours of cruising at cruising speed

The actual sailing time depends on factors such as weather conditions, currents, load, and sailing style. When sailing calmly, the range can increase significantly.
